Privacy Policy

The Junior Golf Association of Hawaii(“JGAH”) is careful to protect the privacy and confidentiality of its users. The JGAH uses strict security measures to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of data used by our system. It will never share, sell, or rent individual personal information with another company or individual without your advance permission or unless ordered by a court of law. Information submitted to us is only available to employees managing this information for purposes of: (i) contacting you or sending you emails/correspondence based on your request for information; (ii) communicating with you regarding our services and programs; (iii) improving customer relations and browsing experience; (iv) notifying visitors about updates, features, new items, etc. This information may also be available to certain third parties (USGA, NCAA golf coaches) solely for the purposes specified above.

In order to become an JGAH member you are required to complete our membership registration form located at the home page of the website (http://www.jgah.org) . During signup a user must provide certain contact information, but the JGAH will never sell or give away this information (except in the limited cases described above). It is optional for the member to provide demographic information. However, we do require and use unique identifiers (username, password, etc.). Giving additional information helps provide a richer experience, but is not required.

All transactions are secured by Secure Sockets Layer (“SSL”), a protocol developed for transmitting private documents via the Internet. SSL uses a cryptographic system that uses two keys to encrypt data - a public key known to everyone and a private or secret key known only to the recipient of the message. Both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox, among others, support SSL, and many Web sites use the protocol to obtain confidential user information, such as credit card numbers. We may use "cookies" to identify return visitors and present a personalized online experience. If you do not wish the benefits resulting from the use of cookies, you may set your web browser to reject them. Please consult your browser instructions for information on how to accomplish this. This may impair your ability to perform transactions on this website and to be recognized on future visits. This website is designed for use by adults, and minors who have received consent from their parents to use the Site. We will not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. Users of this Site should monitor their children's use of the Internet. We take the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA) as well as all FTC regulations very seriously. Nonetheless, we do not assume any responsibility for any misrepresentations regarding your age or parental consent when using this Site. The JGAH reserves the right to modify this policy from time to time, so please review this policy periodically
